Carrie Alison Maloney

As Director of Development, Carrie Alison Maloney brings a diverse background in business and partnership development to her global entrepreneurship experience. In 2016, Carrie became a strategic growth and development consultant, accelerating the trajectory of start-ups, mission driven brands and non-profits all over the world.
Prior to this role, Carrie served as CEO and President of Imagine1day, founded by Chip Wilson, founder of lululemon, and his wife, Shannon. Imagine1day provides quality schools, education and leadership development to people in Ethiopia. While there, Carrie worked with over 487 villages in rural Ethiopia, ensuring they had access to quality education.
Carrie also served as the Executive Director for the Sager Family Foundation’s micro-enterprise programs, including the launch and management of Hands Up Not Handouts, a micro enterprise program for women in underdeveloped countries, and Hope is a Game-Changer, a project that provides more indestructible soccer balls to kids in need all over the world in partnership with the musician Sting.
Carrie also served as the Executive Vice President of Creative Visions Foundation, where, in addition to strategy and fundraising, she identified and launched the Creative Activists Partners and Fellows Programs. Moreover, she has collaborated with organizations such as The Paley Center for New Media and Santa Monica College to launch a series of online exhibits, projects and programs for the general public.
