Matthew Spiegl

Matthew Spiegl is an attorney, environmental blogger and ocean advocate living on California’s Central Coast. His work focuses on the health of the ocean, the impact of plastic pollution and marine debris on sea life, and the need for responsible stewardship of the sea.

He is a member of the Free Morgan Foundation board of directors, and is the co-author of the Foundation’s white paper on whale laundering (November 2015) CITES and the Marine Mammal Protection Act: Comity and Conflict at Loro Parque.
