The Whales

More than 3,000 whales and dolphins are in captivity around the world. Every one of them is an individuals with a unique personality. Every one of them needs to be retired to a sanctuary.

They include 60 orcas and more than 300 belugas at marine parks and aquariums. Others are held at vacation resorts that offer “Dolphin-Assisted Therapy” and “Swim-with-Dolphins” programs.
