For over five decades Jean-Michel Cousteau – explorer, environmentalist, educator and film producer – has dedicated himself and his vast experience to communicate to people of all nations and generations his love and concern for our water planet and all its inhabitants.
In this special webinar event Jean-Michel Cousteau and Whale Sanctuary Project Executive Director Charles Vinick will discuss their 40 years of collaboration, ocean advocacy, and the protection of whales. They will also talk about what became the biggest whale rescue in history: the return of 97 whales to the ocean after they had been illegally captured in Russia for sale to marine parks.
