Santa Barbara Cruise Boat to Host Talk about Sanctuary

Attention, Southern Californians: Join Charles Vinick, Executive Director of the Whale Sanctuary Project, aboard the Condor Express whale-watching boat for a two-hour cruise along the coast of Santa Barbara.

Along the way, Charles will talk about North America’s first coastal sanctuary for orca and beluga whales being retired from marine entertainment parks. The sanctuary is being established in Port Hilford, Nova Scotia.

A new life is possible beyond the tanks!

WHEN: Sunday, October 23rd, 4-6pm, boarding at 3:30pm
WHERE: Departs from the Landing Dock in Santa Barbara Harbor
COST: Minimum donation $35 per person
FOOD: Includes complimentary appetizers
DRINK: No-host bar
